[Episode 1: Doriatessa]
Bard and his group save a collapsed female knight. She is the daughter of a duke from the Goriora Empire and a noble with the title of viscountess. Doriatessa expresses her desire to hunt demonic beasts. Despite feeling disgust and doubt towards a woman becoming a knight, Bard decides to assist Doriatessa.
[Episode 2: Hunting Demonic Beasts]
Doriatessa is attacked by knights from the Vodres family. Bard’s group finds themselves in a dire situation, but they manage to achieve victory with the help of Venn Urill, also known as the “Red Raven.” Furthermore, Venn claims to have spotted a large red bear demonic beast. Bard’s group sets out to find the demonic beast, and Doriatessa successfully obtains its head.
[Episode 3: Subjugation of Bandits]
Bard’s group is begged by the village chief of Bobard South to subjugate a bandit gang. They set out to defeat the bandit gang in the northern settlement. Doriatessa agonizes over allowing the bandit gang to thrive due to her actions. On the other hand, Bard, upon witnessing Venn Urill mercilessly cutting down the bandits, becomes aware of the darkness within his heart.
[Episode 4: Karz Rowen]
Bard ponders how to rid Venn Urill’s heart of the deathly red raven that resides within him and makes Venn swear an oath by the waterfall. Bard renames Venn Urill, adopting him as his foster son and giving him the name Karz Rowen. Having abandoned all past commitments, Karz vows to become a knight for those who have been robbed.
[Episode 5: At the Foot of the Waterfall]
Doriatessa requests Bard to train her so that she can win in the Frontier Martial Arts Tournament. Bard orders Karz to do everything possible to help Doriatessa get closer to victory. Immediately, intense training begins.
[Episode 6: Kachua’s Branch]
Doriatessa rapidly improves her sword skills. Bard’s group each undergoes a rebirth amidst the overflowing divine aura of the deep mountains, deepening their bonds with each other. In the midst of this, the sword technique displayed by Karz reminds Bard of the swordsmanship he was taught as a boy. Nonchalantly swinging the ancient sword, Bard demonstrates the brilliance of a master’s technique by cutting off Kachua’s branch.
[Episode 7: Crossing Over Ova]
Bard’s group, now joined by Doriatessa’s brother, Arflaburne, crosses the Ova River to the west. Arflaburne harbors romantic feelings for his own sister, Doriatessa, causing her distress. Bard reunites with Seifert and decides to go to Lordvan Castle, allowing Jurchaga to go along with Doriatessa.
[Episode 8: Crisis at Lordvan Castle]
The Gerkaast surround Lordvan Castle. It is said that a knight from the Frontier Knights deceived and assassinated one of them. Captain Seifert reveals the truth and beheads the knight responsible. The Gerkaast learn that the sword sheath in the possession of Bard is made by Engdahl, the tribal chief who has gone missing. Bard is tasked with guiding the Gerkaast representative to Engdahl.
[Episode 9: General of the Storm]
Bard’s group encounters the recently risen General of the Storm in the Gaineria Kingdom. The general is Jog Ward. Bard easily defeats Jog, who challenges him.
[Episode 10: The Return of Godon Zarkos]
Bard’s group visits Engdahl and persuades him to return to his tribe. Meanwhile, they learn that Godon’s uncle, Kritop, is behaving tyrannically in the Mageia Territory. They head towards the Mageia Territory to reclaim it. With the help of the Gerkaast, they successfully recapture the castle. Godon executes Kritop and passionately shares his experiences and lessons learned during his journey with his loyal retainers and subjects.
