◇《Leavslasher, Maiden of the Magic Sword》—Second stage of Magic Sword Aptitude.
This is the second stage of a unique skill tree, evolved by absorbing multiple magic sword manipulation skills in the form of Magic Sword Aptitude + Magic Sword Performer (Magic Sword Telekinesis + Homing Projection) + Magic Sword Monarch (Magic Sword Generation Efficiency Stage 2). It is a rare aptitude skill that governs armaments, including physical attributes, yet its modifiers are completely dependent on MID.
The base Magic Sword Aptitude itself is a one-of-a-kind skill that can only be acquired as an attachment to Sora-san's Anima, [Cradle of Sword-Craft], making it currently unobtainable for other players. It is only granted on a limited basis when Lux uses his [Reminiel Traveler (Treasure Guide's Travel Journal)].
Furthermore, this aptitude tree has no branches; it is a single, straight path.
◇《Optimize Alert》—A skill unique to the Magic Sword Aptitude tree.
This is the number one most broken skill, allowing for the resizing of magic swords by adding or subtracting the MP imbued within them. It does have subtle variable limits: the upper limit is about 16 meters, and the lower is 0.016 cm. If shrunk too small, Sora-san herself can't perceive it and loses control, so the practical limit for reduction is a size that's barely visible if she squints carefully.
As a limitation, or rather a point of difficulty, actively enlarging and shrinking them is incredibly tiring. In the story, she basically uses it to summon a giant sword with a BAM, but it's also possible to change the size of already summoned swords... however, the mental load of the 'change size' command is so great that Sora-san operates it from the get-go as a skill to 'summon large and small swords separately.' A rare scene where she changes the size of a sword in her hand is during the revenge match against [Angalta, God-Wedge Sword-King] in episode 305.
◇《Load Bullet》—A skill unique to the Magic Sword Aptitude tree.
This is case number one for the "[Cradle of Sword-Craft] is just too OP" victims' association.
It's a stock skill that allows her to imbue magic swords with magic, regardless of whether it's offensive or non-offensive, and release it at any time. It should be a competent skill that could create various advantages depending on how it's used, but because her Anima is just too versatile, Sora-san's other skill growth has stagnated, and her repertoire of magic spells hasn't increased much. Furthermore, while a spell is stocked, it naturally requires her to allocate mental resources to it. So even if she wanted to keep a healing spell ready for instant activation, it's more convenient for her to rely on her own reads and activate it on the spot... which is all rather unfortunate.
Her [Cradle of Sword-Craft] is just too strong.
◇《Formation Construction》—A skill unique to the Magic Sword Aptitude tree.
A special skill that establishes a "formation" by constructing a 'circle' with magic swords. Inside the formation, she can break through many of the limitations of her [Cradle of Sword-Craft], such as the 'number of magic sword attributes that can be used simultaneously' and the 'summoning point being limited to near her body.'
As shown during the 'White Throne' battle, the basic usage is to stab them into the ground. However, it can also be deployed in mid-air; it's just that leaving them floating on standby creates an unnecessary burden. After the formation is constructed, the effect is broken if more than ten percent of the magic swords comprising the circle are lost.
◇《Attribute Conversion》—A skill unique to the Magic Sword Aptitude tree.
This is actually a limit-breaking skill that nullifies the restriction of [Cradle of Sword-Craft] that 'prevents attribute switching during combat.' It's a trade-off type skill that allows her to change the attribute of her magic swords during battle by paying MP, something that is normally only possible outside of combat with no limits.
The MP cost is quite hefty, so frequently switching attributes back and forth is a no-go.
◇《Light Magic Aptitude》—One of the special attributes in the magic aptitude tree.
Although it belongs to a more general category compared to Starlight Magic, it's a special attribute type with few users. Among the special attribute categories, which have powerful strengths but also strong quirks, this one is characterized by being 'straightforward,' and it tends to grant access to spells that are easy to understand and use.
Its most notable advantage is its area of effect. Many of its spells, both offensive and non-offensive, are wide-range or area-of-effect types. Its healing magic, in particular, is a rare form of area healing in Arcadia, so the general perception is that 'Light Magic means top-tier healer.'
◇《Embrace》—The third stage evolution of 《Heal Light》.
An area-of-effect wide-range healing spell. It combines both instant recovery and healing-over-time effects, making its raw healing capability quite substantial. However, it comes with a correspondingly high cost and activation delay, making it a skill that is difficult to use repeatedly in more ways than one.
It evolved from 《Heal Light》 to 《Qualia Veil》, gaining the healing-over-time effect. Then from 《Qualia Veil》 to 《Embrace》, the upper limit on the number of people who can be healed within the designated area was removed (though it wasn't depicted in the story, the limit for Qualia Veil was five people).
Incidentally, Sora-san hasn't used incantations since the early days of 《Heal Light》. This isn't because her healing spells are simple, incantation-free magic like 《Aqua》 or 《Flood》, but rather a specification for all 'Healing Magic' in Arcadia. While it's sometimes collectively called chanting, the correct term for this is 'activation delay.'
To begin with, the healing magic in that world isn't really mag—
◇《Fast Light》—An elementary Light Magic Aptitude spell.
A flash of light that serves as a blind. With an ultra-short incantation, it can be activated in a single beat, and its MP consumption is minuscule, making it seem like a handy trick. However, since Sora-san is not skilled in PvP, where it would shine the most, it doesn't get many opportunities to be used.
Incidentally, the caster themselves will be blinded if they don't close their eyes, so protecting one's vision upon activation is essential. Furthermore, many monsters track players using methods other than sight, and some even become more troublesome and rampage when their vision is obscured. On top of that, in PvP, the timing of the blind is instantly revealed by the incantation, so the receiver can counter it by happily closing their eyes along with the caster. Thus, using it effectively requires some ingenuity.
By the way, when combined with 《Load Bullet》...
◇《Circlet》—An intermediate Light Magic Aptitude spell.
A special skill that expands the scale of area-of-effect magic by paying additional MP. At full power, it can combo with 《Embrace》 to turn her into an ultra-healer who can restore an entire raid party, but it also turns her into an ultra-healer who consumes all her MP, so moderation is essential.
For this one, too, it's often more effective for Sora-san to use 《Embrace》 in separate instances according to her reads, so it has few opportunities to shine.
◇《Geo Stake》—An intermediate Light Magic Aptitude spell.
Case number two for the "[Cradle of Sword-Craft] is just too OP" victims' association.
A sad spell that holds the undisputed worst usage frequency despite being the only offensive magic Sora-san has acquired. It's reasonably flashy and has decent power, making it a perfectly useful skill line under normal circumstances, but it gets shot down with a single phrase: "But you can just use magic swords for that, right?"
There are plans for it to be used in the future. Probably. I think. For what it's worth.
◇《Light Enchant》—An elementary Light Magic Aptitude spell.
Among attribute enchantments, 'Light' has an extremely simple characteristic: it's purely focused on raw power. More accurately, its defining feature is its superior magic conversion efficiency, with the 'highest multiplier for calculating damage based on the caster's MID value.' When used with Sora-san's MID, which is nearly double that of a pure mage, it demonstrates truly wonderful damage performance.
◇《Scareless, Song of the Scales》—TkniBik*ohK.
Player【Sora】's unique skill.
◇《Glad Bounce》—The second stage evolution of 《Quit Counter》.
A defensive skill that evolved down a different path from the protagonist's 《Quit Counter》 ⇒ 《Reflect Explode》. In exchange for losing its counter-attack effects, it specializes in defense, granting a high advantage modifier to weapon guards and parries.
Furthermore, upon a perfect parry, it inflicts a forced knockback effect on the attacker.
It's a legitimately competent skill. However, Sora-san is fundamentally an active young lady who wants to be on the offensive... or rather, any opponent who could break through the waterfall of her magic swords and get into close range would be...
◇《Trample Slide》
A movement skill that can be activated by further stepping with either the left or right foot while on the ground. It allows the user to slide a fixed distance at a speed corresponding to their AGI.
It's a go-to skill for light warriors that the protagonist also used for a time. It's a versatile skill that can be used for both offense and defense depending on how it's applied, but due to its versatility and popularity, it's easily read in PvP, so over-relying on it will lead to your demise. Not that it matters to Sora-san, since she doesn't do PvP.
◇《Uplooking Amber Eyes》—The second stage evolution of 《Observer's Eye》.
'It bridges the gap between perception and comprehension'… while not entirely accurate, to put it simply, this unique skill is a straightforward enhancement that 'super-boosts kinetic vision.' By shortening the response time from perception to comprehension to reaction, it dramatically improves combat performance.
The weakness of its predecessor, 《Observer's Eye》, where 'the effect doesn't manifest at close range,' has been mitigated. Now, instead of being all-or-nothing, the effect scales with distance.
In exchange for a somewhat heavier cost, it has become a god-tier, semi-passive skill with no cooldown that can be toggled on and off at will. So, even if it's not explicitly described, it's used frequently.
◇《Twin Magic Cladding》—The fourth stage evolution of 《Acrobatics》.
This is a top-tier, fourth-stage god skill that was reached after bypassing 《Idaten》 and going through 《Magic Control Sky Dash》, a different version of 《Adamant Sky Dash》. In addition to a constant DEX modifier based on MID and an additional bonus during high-speed maneuvers, it also incorporates the 《Mana Cloak》 skill, allowing for the enhancement of the four stats excluding MID/LUC by consuming MP.
The body enhancement aspect isn't very fuel-efficient, so if used thoughtlessly, even with Sora-san's MID value, she can carelessly run out of MP. Careful management is required.
◇《Charis Heart》
During combat, the modifier from words and actions is improved.
This is a somewhat rare special skill that you're not sure if many people have or not. It's something that makes every player who reads its text in-game tilt their head once, but in essence, it improves the upward adjustment value of actions from a climax boost.
Everyone who acquires this skill has, to some extent, a 'reserved and shy' side to them. In other words, you could say it's a skill where 'the system gives a little something extra as a reward to players who, despite their embarrassment, earnestly try their best to shout out their special moves.'
◇《Fairy Dance》—The fourth stage evolution of 《Jump Maneuver》.
Improves the stability and acceleration of jumping actions according to the MID value. Additionally, after a certain number of consecutive evasive actions, it grants the enhancement effect 'Fairy's Dance.' This effect stacks, and the MP recovery speed increases for a certain period according to the accumulated number of stacks.
This is an evolutionary skill related to 《Fataless Jumper》. It's a rare, MID-build evasion method acquired by a small number of melee mages relative to Arcadia's population.
◇《Swallow's Run》—The second stage evolution of 《Adaptive Run》.
Assists with the stability and accuracy of body movements during consecutive jumps. Additionally, it prevents loss of jumping power even when taking off from unstable footing or an unbalanced posture.
This is a mobility enhancement skill that the protagonist used until it evolved into the heart of his build, 《Rabbit Run》. It's consistently strong. You can even hop-hop on magic swords with it.
◇《True Eye》—The second stage evolution of 《Precept of Insight》.
Improves vision during combat.
A rare skill with an incredibly simple effect, yet an incredibly small number of users. To say 'your eyes get better' doesn't just mean simple visual acuity; it improves 'many abilities related to the eyes,' such as kinetic vision, so it's widely recognized as a powerful skill.
Its predecessor, 《Precept of Insight》, has the same breakdown of effects, and this evolved version has all its enhancement values straightforwardly boosted. When Sora-san is performing crazy maneuvers in a different way from the protagonist, it's often because she's combining this with 《Uplooking Amber Eyes》.
◇《Battle-Driving Healing Hand》—The second stage evolution of 《Precept of the Healing Hand》.
During combat, applies an upward modifier to healing actions on others based on the distance to the opponent. The closer the distance, the more effective healing potions and magic become, and for the latter, the activation delay is also shortened.
A skill that evolved from its predecessor, which simply applied a slight bonus to all healing actions, into a battle-healer route. Since those who acquire healing magic tend to be 'poor at fighting,' few players evolve it this way, making it a quietly rare skill.
It's quite useful. But, as a second-stage universal precept-type skill, its effect is modest. Meanwhile, that bugged skill that's supposedly also a second-stage precept-type, 《Trickster of Zenith》...
◇《Risolde Esta》
If a person with this skill joins a party, the automatic MP recovery speed of all party members is increased. Furthermore, similar effects stack regardless of whether they are higher or lower tier.
An ultra-rare skill that, as of now, only six people including Sora-san have acquired (according to the author's research). It is a sign of one who possesses natural idol-like qualities and leadership talent, and who is beloved by the world.
Incidentally, the 《Risolde Vertex》 that Ashe has is the third-stage evolution of this skill.
◇《Root of Magic》—The third stage evolution of 《Mana Efficiency》.
Reduces the player's MP consumption and increases their automatic recovery rate.
This is the second evolution of the universal, must-have passive. Reaching this point means you're considered a 'veteran player' or an 'expert'; this is essentially the goal for this skill. Just as a certain princess is also stuck at this third stage, only a handful of people have progressed beyond this point.
◇《Four-Sided Blessing》—Dungeon clear reward.
Increases magic resistance against the 'Fire,' 'Water,' 'Wind,' and 'Earth' attributes from among the five basic major elements.
The dungeon reward skill that the protagonist and the Tiger Master-Disciple duo + α went to get. It's a must-have passive for combat jobs, but for someone like Sora-san who has excessively stacked MID, her base magic resistance is already drastically higher than a normal person's, so it's a bonus on the level of a drop in the bucket.
I hear there's a novel that's reached its 600th chapter and is only now explaining the skills of its main cast.
I've written this pretty simply, which is to say, I've omitted the fine details that are so minor you'd think, "Who cares about that? Who would even benefit from knowing?" But for all you studious Arcadians who are thinking, "What's going on with this? Spit out all the details, now!" please ask me in the comments or wherever.
I'll answer what I can. Questions about the protagonist's skills are also welcome.
