"—Still no sign?"

"We have no leads whatsoever... so I'm afraid it's looking grim."

In a space resembling a conference room, with a long table and numerous chairs.

Two voices could be heard, both belonging to quiet women.

"It has been a week since the celebratory cannon in question was confirmed, but we haven't even caught a whisper of a suspicious player. Searching blindly like this, I don't believe we can expect any progress."

The voice, somewhat stiff, the very embodiment of seriousness, spoke with a sigh.

"I see."

The other voice, devoid of emotion yet sweet and cool, murmured with a hint of disappointment.

"That being the case, I believe I will issue a directive to halt the search for the time being."

"Yes, I think that's for the best."

The words were emotionless, as always. Yet, the one who spoke knew that 'she' was not truly without emotion, and that she held a strong interest in this matter.

That is precisely why.

"If it is him."

The words that followed were just as expected.

"Then we should be able to meet him soon enough."

The lonely king who longed for 'someone' continued to wait for that moment, unchanged.
