My character and skill levels went up, which was surprising, but first things first, I'll Dismantle the Saloon Lizard.

The flavor text for the skin is kinda vague; I guess I need some skill for this. I'll check that later. Next, I'll allocate the BP I got from leveling up.
Well, I planned to put points into stats until character level 5 anyway, so this time it'll be 3 each to STR and DEX, 2 to AGI, 1 each to INT and VIT, and LUK gets skipped again.
Next, I'll confirm that my Taming skill level increased… For now, I'll check Lupi.

It still says 'Wolf?' for the species, even after my Appraisal skill leveled up. And what's 'Free Action'? Ah, could it be…

I see… I don't think she ever ignored commands before, but it probably has something to do with our bond.

I had her 'Stay' for no real reason, and she was so eager to take on the Saloon Lizard, so I really have to praise her.
I took out some rabbit meat, cut off a piece, and gave it to her; Lupi ate it deliciously. Her appearance was subtly… not unlike Miki's.

I might ask Mion about things I don't understand, but seeing a development I know absolutely nothing about… I don't like that.
If the same thing happened on this island, I'd go 'Oh, that thing,' and… it'd probably kill my motivation.

"No, no, Bell-buchou is doing a livestream today, isn't she? Besides, whatever they do over there, it's not like it'll cause us any trouble."

If Paralyze Potions can be made from Saloon Lizard Poison Glands, I'd definitely want to prepare some for fighting the goblins.
Making round pottery bottles and 'throwing them to incapacitate enemies' might be an option. There might even be a chance against an Armor Bear.

The second trap was empty. It was empty last time too, so is it a bad spot?

In my inventory, let's see… there it is! South Snake meat. It's not particularly tasty, so I can just use it as bait, right?
I used Trap Setting to place the snake meat in a good spot. I hope Mr. Lizard comes this way.
