Since the viewers were also curious about the World Quest, the live stream ended peacefully without an extension. Today’s broadcast was relaxed, wasn’t it? Well, there was the Magic Analysis discussion, though.
More importantly, ‘Marigold,’ who subjugated a demon... that must be Marie (Mashiro) Onee-san, right?
“Yata-sensei, you know about that...”
She likes orange marigolds. It’s a flashy, eye-catching flower, just like Mashiro Onee-san.
“So, the demon that was subjugated, was that your sister-in-law?”
“Probably...”
The quest she was on must have been related to that demon. If that’s all it is, she seems to be playing normally (?), so I guess I don’t need to worry. I wonder if Seth (Miki) was with her...

I called out to Yata-sensei, who was about to log off. Honestly, I have a more important consultation than the World Quest...
“I have something I’d like to discuss, so could you please come to the studio?”
I wanted to avoid Bell-bucho and Seth finding out if I streamed in the Virtual Club Room. Though I doubt they’re checking that closely.

I don’t think the conversation will be that long, and I’ll log out after it’s finished.
“Hmm~, I don’t think you need to worry that much~?”
“Do you think so?”
“Everyone plays games in their own way~. Bell-san, for example, is a mage because she finds close combat too scary~.”
I thought Bell-bucho was a pure magic build from her image character, but that was also a reason? Honestly, if you’re not used to full-dive games, especially action ones, they can feel scary.
“Is that okay with you, Shou-kun?”
“Yeah, I think it’s perfectly fine. When moving to new areas, it’s honestly tough trying to protect Mion, so I was thinking of having her wait for me.”
The time with the Maroon Wraith was pretty dangerous. And with the Red Armor Bear too. I think it would be tough to make her go through that, both personality-wise and character-level-wise.
“Mion-san, you can support Shou-kun~. You can do cooking, gathering, and farm work, right, Mion-san~?”
“Y-yes! I’ll do my best!”
I don’t think she needs to be so determined, but if she’s motivated, then that’s good. Gathering with the Fairies, cooking with the Selkies, farming with the Urisks—those things are fun.
“What about the live stream?”
“I think the live stream should continue as it is. Honestly, there’s no real benefit in openly announcing that she can come to the island.”
“That’s right~. The current live stream style is well established~, unless you really want to open it up~.”
It would be interesting to have her come to the island as a reporter or something, but if we do that now, it'll undoubtedly cause a commotion with people asking, 'How did she get here?!' We should aim for her to visit as secretly as possible...
“Is that okay?”
“Yeah. Well, if it works out.”
“I think the hurdles are quite high~.”
Whether Mion can make it to the Necropolis, and if she does, whether she’ll be allowed to use the Transfer Magic Circle, and so on...
“Honestly, I think the best option is for me to go pick her up.”
I’m the only one Argenta-san is familiar with, and I don’t think she’d oppose me bringing Mion. Probably.
“That’s right~. Rather than relying on someone else~, it might be better if Shou-kun manages it himself~.”
If Nat or Polly (Iincho) helped, I want to avoid burdening them if it got out. Then there’s Bell-bucho, but I worry about Seth finding out...
“I’d be happier that way too...”
“Okay. I’ll go pick you up.”

Yata-sensei’s prediction was that once the World Quest ends, the Necropolis might actually be liberated and become a nation. Perhaps the first player nation? ...There was the Game Dolls’ nation, so it wouldn’t be the first. Anyway, if it becomes a selectable starting point, then I could just disguise myself and go pick her up.
It’s also unclear if Argenta-san will maintain that location until then, so it’s contingent on me being able to reliably pick her up. That’s right. I need to somehow level up my Stealth skill...

Lupi and I dashed! She usually comes around 9 PM, so have I kept her waiting for almost an hour? It must be an urgent message if she came so suddenly...
“How long has she been waiting?”

Hearing that, I slowed my pace just a little. Something happened about 15 minutes ago... Yeah. It’s probably that.
“Is it about the World Announcement regarding the demons?”
“I have a feeling it is.”
Since Mion finally got motivated, I hope nothing strange has happened.
I parted ways with Sweee and the others before the Crossroads, and Lupi and I boarded the Transfer Elevator leading to the Large Transfer Room.

Argenta-san said, bowing deeply. On the way to the Mountain Cabin, I asked about the purpose of her visit today... it’s about the demons, right?

I re-checked it afterwards and confirmed it was 1/?. It must have been the one Marie Onee-san (probably) defeated... What’s the '?' in the denominator?
