Chapter 478 - Moving and the Neighbors

My summer homework was almost finished.
I'd probably be done this week, and I wanted to fully enjoy the training camp starting next week without any worries.

Yata-sensei lightly checked our homework and nodded contentedly. Then, her gaze fell on Bell-buchou's empty seat…
According to Seth, Bell-buchou was going to the Necropolis South District church for tomorrow's live stream, and from there, she planned to visit that Sub-Control Room.
A preliminary visit for that? Well, I suppose there were various reasons…
"Bell-buchou said she'd finish it by the weekend."
"Bell-san always says that."
Yeah, that was stirring up a hornets' nest.
Instead of trying to smooth things over, I should just go to IRO quickly.
"Alright, we're off to IRO."
"Okay~. May I watch?"
I had no problem with it, but it was up to Mion.

For the IRO stream settings, I had Mion-only streaming as default. Mion, conversely, had Shou-only streaming as default.
Since Yata-sensei wanted to watch Mion's gameplay, I asked Mion to change her settings to Yata-sensei-only streaming.
We were still in a party, so Yata-sensei's voice should come through.

I logged in and got off the loft bed. When Mion logged in shortly after, I offered her a hand and…

Today, we planned to move to the mansion.
I had to bring all the books and things from here, and afterward, I'd need to discuss with Sweee what to do with this Mountain Cabin.

"Um, Azure-san wants to come tomorrow night."

"A Dragon is coming?"
"Yes, they want to investigate the Uninhabited Island where Mion started."
We did just go there without inviting them to join the investigation, so I guess I couldn't blame them. I'd accept their request for tomorrow night.
I took the letter from Mion and checked it… Azure-san's letters were always simple, making them easy to reply to. I quickly wrote a response and put it in the Magic Transfer Box.

"Sweee-chan, hello."
Sweee arrived and settled onto Mion's left shoulder, her new usual spot.
My job was to pet Lupi, who looked eager for praise.
"Shou-kun. Tell Sweee-chan about the move."
"Okay. Um, I'm thinking of moving to the mansion beyond the church, but what about you all, Sweee? You can stay in the Divine Tree here as always, or you can come to the mansion with us, either is fine."

Sweee pondered, arms crossed, with a thoughtful 'hmph-hmph' sound.
Was she perhaps reluctant to leave the Divine Tree?
"Sweee-chan, won't you come with us? If you live in the mansion, you'll be warm during winter!"

At Mion's words, Sweee readily agreed to move to the mansion.
Well, even Fairies don't like the cold, do they?
"She says everyone wants to live in the mansion."

Shal's group would probably get cold in the church during winter too, so I'd make sure they could come over anytime. …Maybe I should get a cat tower?

"Hm? Yes, I'll properly maintain this Mountain Cabin and the adjacent storage. We still use the Divine Tree, after all. But I'm taking the books."
Also, it would be tough without the Magic Storage Box.
For Lupi's meat, the dried fish from True, and the vegetables from Pan's group.
"It might be a good idea to grow indoor plants in this Mountain Cabin, perhaps."

Seeing Mion's expression, she looked like she wanted to try it, so,
"Okay, then I'll leave that to you, Mion. Discuss it with Sweee and give it a try."

We divided the luggage from the Mountain Cabin and moved it.
Since it was too heavy with everything inside, we took the contents out of the Magic Storage Box and put them into our respective inventories.

"Yeah. Here is fine."
Shal's Cait Sith group joined us midway, so I asked them to handle the small items like dishes and such.
The expensive cabinet and the mini-chest I made to hide the Transfer Magic Circle were made lighter with Gravity Magic.
"Alright, only the books are left, so let me handle these."
Putting food back into the Magic Storage Box and tidying up the dishes was done.
I wanted to properly categorize the remaining books myself.
"Okay. I'll go tend the fields with Pan-kun."
Pan's group, who joined us later, prioritized the fields.
Thanks to them, almost all the weeds around the mansion were gone, making it look completely different from how it did at first.
"Got it. Leda, Roy, please."

"You're so overprotective, Shou-kun."
I ignored that.
I sorted the books I brought into the expensive cabinet and the newly made bookshelf.
Speaking of which, I still haven't learned Applied Fire Magic or Applied Wind Magic…
"Ah, no, this is bad. I'll end up reading these books while I'm supposed to be tidying."
I had to quickly put them away without getting distracted.
In-game books didn't have titles on their spines, but their bindings were quite different, making them easy to sort.

"Today, I plan to talk about moving into the mansion and announce that we formed a guild."
I planned to issue the piano repair, which I couldn't tune even if I fixed, as our first request. I thought I'd ask the viewers during the live stream what kind of reward they'd prefer.
As I talked about that, I finished organizing the books. I was about to go help Mion when,

"Ah-ha, this might be a good time to call Shou-kun, perhaps."
That was Yata-sensei's voice.
Something had happened, but she didn't sound panicked, and besides, if it were serious, Leda or Roy would have reported it.
"Huh? What happened?"
"Mion-san is heading your way now~"
