Chapter 546 - Chapter 486 Tir na nOg Goes Live?

Thursday

"…And that's how it was."

"…"

It was Thursday afternoon.

I was tending to the backyard behind the mansion with Mion.

"President?"

"She might have frozen up…"

The matter of the Large Magic Ship was settled with the Dragonkin carefully storing it.

We also decided that if it ever fell into human (player) hands in the future, they shouldn't approach our island.

That reminded me of something.

"The lighthouse on the east side of our island, is it related to the Large Magic Ship after all?"

"I think so~. My guess is that lighthouse also had a role in guiding safe sea routes using Spatial Magic~."

"Regarding the Large Magic Ship, there are records that it could be operated by a small crew. It likely had a function to automatically navigate safe sea routes, as Azure-san mentioned."

So said Azure-san and Argenta-san.

That makes sense. From a game perspective, it would be a huge hassle if operating it required a double-digit number of personnel.

Well, that was one of the discussions, and then,

"…It's probably for a much later update, perhaps after players start operating ships that can routinely sail the open ocean."

Ah, Bell-buchou seems to have revived.

"I think so. The White Dragon Princess's 'Don't give it to him' might, in a sense, also be a message from the operations team."

"I see."

"Is it because Shou-kun is going backwards through so many things? Speaking of which, have you read the documents in the Magic Confidential Box?"

"Oh, I haven't. Well, I pretty much figured it out, so I guess it's fine."

So, I just tossed it into the mansion's storehouse.

The box itself seems valuable, but the entire Southern Island is pretty much a secret anyway.

"Understood. I think it's best to keep this matter under wraps, but have you consulted Seth-chan?"

"I did, and she had the same opinion as Bell-buchou."

She said something about the operations team getting sick if I don't take it easy, and I wondered if that was my fault.

"Right. And what about the other matter?"

"I said okay. But I can't build a dedicated mansion right away, so I'm thinking of letting them use what was the dining hall in the current mansion."

Recently, the Southern Island has become my main focus, and I haven't been able to explore the northern side of the island.

Anyway, when I first heard that the White Dragon Princess wanted to stay here, I thought, 'Is that really alright?'

"One reason Hii-sama is recovering is the food she receives here. Especially…"

"The Fairy Flower Honey that Sweee's group provides seems particularly effective."

"~ ~ ~♪."

Sweee puffed out her chest with a smug look at those words. Yeah, I guess that's fair.

Speaking of which, today's mango pudding also used Fairy Flower Honey.

"So, you're converting the dining hall into a room?"

"That's the plan, but I need to consult about the interior design."

Argenta-san told me a simple setup would be fine, but having only a bed probably wouldn't be appropriate.

"El-san will be coming too, so it needs to be properly arranged, right?"

"Right."

Apparently, the White Dragon Princess's awakened state is currently limited to about 30 minutes.

Since we won't always be present, El-san has agreed to accompany her.

Also, since Argenta-san's group might visit,

"I suppose I should clean up the other unused rooms too."

The dining hall, serving room, and servant's rooms were cleaned but remained empty.

Converting the dining hall into the White Dragon Princess's room, the serving room into El-san's, and making the servant's rooms into guest rooms for Argenta-san, Azure-san, and Vermilion-san should be sufficient.

"I think it's a good idea."

Mion was quite enthusiastic, perhaps because the White Dragon Princess had become fond of her.

It was a bit surprising how friendly she had become with El-san, but apparently, El-san resembles Tsubaki-san… I see, that explains it.

"While the White Dragon Princess is here, will Argenta-san be managing the Dragonkin?"

"Basically, yes. It seems that's how it's always been, but when Hii-sama's instructions are needed, we'll contact her via Guild Card."

Argenta-san and Vermilion-san also became guild members.

"Speaking of which, how many people can be registered in a guild?"

"Oh, I forgot to mention that. The number of members in a guild increases with each level of the [Guild Management] skill you acquire."

"Huh?"

Without the [Guild Management] skill, it's up to 10 people. With it, it's said to increase to 20 members at level 1, 30 at level 2, and so on, supposedly reaching 110 at max level.

It's "said" because no one has actually reached max level yet; Bell-buchou knows someone at level 7 with 80 members.

"Can't it go higher than that?"

"As the Guild Master's [Guild Management] level increases, so does the number of Sub Masters you can add. And if those Sub Masters also acquire [Guild Management], their capacity is added too."

"Oh, wow…"

Without any skills, there's 1 Sub Master. You can add as many as your skill level. So, if the skill level reaches max, that's 1 Guild Master and 11 Sub Masters. If those Sub Masters also max out their skills… Is that 1320 people?

"Well, our guild won't be that big, I guess."

For now, I'm the Guild Master, and Mion is the Sub Master. Add Azure-san, El-san, Argenta-san, and Vermilion-san, and that's six members.

"Normally, if you add NPCs to a guild, you have to pay them wages, but Shou-kun's case is special, isn't it?"

"Hahahaha…"

In that sense, the people helping out at the Necropolis Guild Branch Office should probably be actual guild members too.

Somehow, I've been leaving everything to Azure-san, no, Geira-san, so maybe I should add Geira-san as a guild member at some point.

"How is the Silver Manor doing?"

"Seth-chan established our guild, and she used the reward SP from that to acquire [Guild Management]. After that, Yuki-san took [Accounting], [Writing], and other related skills as a Sub Master."

Effectively, Yuki-san is running the Silver Manor, having acquired [Guild Management], [Accounting], and [Writing] skills.

"That's amazing."

"[Accounting] makes financial calculations faster, right?"

"Yes, that's right. [Writing] makes you write faster, and if [Elemental Magic] and [Basic Magicology] reach Level 5, you can learn the [Copy Arts] skill."

Huh, that sounds super convenient.

But it doesn't seem like Mion and I would have much use for it?

"Shou-kun. I think I'll take those three skills."

"Huh? Okay, but do you think you'll use them often?"

"I think it's a good idea. Shou-kun's guild can't rely on bartering forever, can it?"

That's true. Or rather, if we put out things we've made, it just unnecessarily sparks a bidding war, so it's safer to offer money as a reward…
