Chapter 581 - Chapter 518: Welcome, Kijimunaa and Company
Sunday
"Are you ready?"
"Juju!" "Juju~!"
Gaju and five other Kijimunaa were coming to tour my island.
It was something True had suggested and asked for, but with various things piling up, I felt bad it took so long.
"Sorry to keep you waiting."
"~~~♪"
Mion had gone to get Armra (mango) fruits at Sweee's insistence… and she must have gotten a lot. Sweee had a huge smile on her face.
As a return gift, I brought two pairs of Yakokko and Yakokku, which Shal and her group had bred, and presented them.
If they multiply from now on, the Kijimunaa should be able to enjoy egg dishes too.
The Goya Champuru I ate during the Okinawa training camp was delicious, but I wonder if there's any Goya on this island?
Ah, and I forgot that I was going to make tofu…
"Alright, let's go."
"Yes."
When we came here initially, it was from the Mountain Cabin's Divine Tree, but this time we had it connected to the Divine Tree in Selkie Village.
"~~~♪"
"Thanks."
"Woof!"
Rupee was first, with Raz and I as the second group.
Gaju and the Kijimunaa followed, then Shal and her group, Mion, the Fairies, and Sweee, in that order.
"Kyui~♪"
As we exited the Divine Tree, True, who seemed to have been waiting, pounced on me.
"Long time no see. Just a moment."
I put True down beside me to clear the way for Gaju and the others coming from behind.
"Juju~♪"
"Kyui~♪"
The two shook hands with both hands, happy to swing them back and forth.
The Kijimunaa who followed also seemed to be enjoying themselves, high-fiving the Selkies.
"Shou-kun."
"Yeah. [Summon: Rigel]."
I summoned Rigel a short distance away.
He hadn't been able to come here before, but it was thanks to Summoning Magic.
"Whinny."
"Woof." "Purrr~♪"
Rigel looked around after greeting Rupee and Raz properly.
He seemed calm for having suddenly arrived in an unfamiliar place.
"Juju~!"
"This is Rigel. He's a gentle fellow, so there's no need to be scared."
"Whinny~♪"
I introduced Rigel to the surprised Gaju and his group.
After leaving them to play here for a while with True and Shal's group,
"Alright, shall we go?"
"Yes." "Woof!"
I thought I'd go retrieve the Small Magic Boat in the meantime.
Since we're here, the plan is to take the Kijimunaa for a ride, going clockwise all the way to the sandy beach where we first started.
It's an area I know from the map, but I've never actually been there, so I figured I'd take a quick look around.
"I'm looking forward to the boat."
"I don't think monsters will appear on today's course, but be careful just in case."
"Yes."
From Selkie Village, through the port, to the Lighthouse Rear.
Speaking of which, there was something I needed to ask.
"Nina. I've finished the Heavy Silver Steel Ingots, but if I'm using them to repair this boat, where should I put them?"
"[Yes. If you place them on the current floor, we can handle it.]"
"Roger. I'll bring them next time."
It's a bit heavy to carry… wait,
"Shou-kun. Here..."
"You mean the transfer destination, right?"
"Yes."
I chanted [Positioning Magic] to acquire the location data. Now, to register it as 'Magic Boat Dock'.
I can register as many locations as my [Spatial Magic] skill level, so I still have two slots open.
"Alright. Now, get on board."
"Yes." "Arf~"
………
……
…
"One at a time."
"Juju~!"
Gaju and his group were incredibly excited by the Small Magic Boat that had landed on the sandy beach of Selkie Village.
As they eagerly boarded, just before departure,
"Alright, we'll be back in about an hour, so I'm leaving the rest to you."
"Meow!" "~~~♪"
Sweee and her group, Shal and her group, Leda, Roy, Raz, and Rigel were asked to wait.
Naturally, not everyone could fit, and Shal's group were the only ones I could entrust Rigel to.
On the Small Magic Boat were Mion, Rupee, True, True's two attendants, Gaju, and five other Kijimunaa. Yup, just barely.
I knew the Kijimunaa could swim, but,
"Gaju. Hold out your hand."
"Juju?"
I gave him a light high-five, and, yep, alliance complete.
We formed an alliance with a party of six: me, Mion, Rupee, and True's group, plus Gaju and his five companions.
[Kijimunaa Chief's Blessing]
The Kijimunaa, fairies of the Kouyouju Divine Tree, bestow power upon worthy friends. The Chief's Blessing grants great strength. Spirit Magic consumption MP decreased by 10%. Appraisal Skill +1, True Appraisal Skill +1.
"That's amazing!"
"Gaju is a chief, after all."
It's known on the mainland that if the party leader is a special NPC, some kind of blessing is granted, but Sweee and Gaju are truly impressive.
"Juju?"
"Ah, sorry, sorry. Alright, let's depart!"
"Kyui~!" "Juju~!"
………
……
…
"Oh, is that cliff the place we went to at the very beginning?"
"Yes."
It was the amazing view from the cliff on the east side of the southern sandy beach.
Was that when I first showed the island in the club room?
"Kyui~!"
"Juju~!"
Since the Small Magic Boat was like a hovercraft without a draft, it was great that we could move a moderate distance from the shore.
True and Gaju, looking up at the cliff, also seemed to be having fun, exclaiming how amazing it was.
"We're going to land."
"Kyukyu~"
It felt like ages since I'd been on this sandy beach, having moved to the mountain cabin and then the mansion.
I slowed down to land gently… but before that, True and her companions leaped into the sea.
"Juju?"
"Gaju, wait a moment."
They seemed to be checking the safety of the underwater area.
Well, I've dived here several times myself, so I think it should be fine.
"Alright, we've arrived. You can get off."
"Woof!" "Juju!" "Juju~!"
Today, we're going to search for seafood here while waiting for the White Dragon Princess and El-san.
Oh, right. I'll have True and her group catch the shrimp I've always let get away.
