Chapter 601 - Dragon's Desired Island Cuisine
The time was nearing 9:30 PM. Questions about guild sales had apparently eaten up quite a bit of time.
While I was answering questions, I'd gotten my fill, but the White Dragon Princess… Vermilion-san was grilling more for her, so I figured it was fine to leave her to it.
"Alright, next question. How far have you ventured into the northern part of the island?"
"Oh, right. Um, beyond the forest past the lake, there's a grassland…"
First, I reported that we'd found some rare cows called Ambernault, and thanks to Pan, we managed to tame them.
[Rakan]: "Nice, nice!"
[Storay]: "I get the feeling they're a wild species of the mainland's Whitetout…"
[Salonpa]: "Rare species???"
[Risossu]: "How many head?"

The domesticated cattle on the mainland are apparently called Whitetout.
When people talk about milk, they mean Whitetout milk, and those with the [Animal Husbandry] skill usually start raising them after Kocko.
"We have three Ambernault, and they just followed along after Pan scouted them out."
"You rebuilt the stables, right?"
"That's right. The area behind the church was getting too cramped, so we built new stables a little distance from the mansion."
I had planned to reveal the newly built stables in the next live stream, but Vermilion-san and El-san helped out, and it was finished in just one day.
They helped transport the felled trees, lifted the beams into place, arranged the roof tiles, and even held nails for me while I hammered…

After that, I recounted how the Hogany Bulls charged us, and we defeated them to get meat and other drops.
Hogany Bulls themselves are apparently a common cow-type monster on the mainland.
"What kind of dishes are you planning to use it for?"
"Hmm, well, probably stew, to be safe. Or maybe beef curry? It's lean meat, so roast beef could be good too."
[Imanity]: "I wanna eat it~~~!"
[Master Chef]: "Roast beef, nice!"
[Kagasan]: "Next week's theme is… Beef!"
[Archeus]: "How about beef tendon stew?"

For the next stream, maybe I'll bring some roast beef sandwiches and head to the grassland.
But safety first.

"Please give Vermilion-san one word about his impressions of the island."
Ah, that's another possibility.
It felt a bit sudden, but it was something I was curious about too, so I wanted to hear it.
He seemed satisfied with the food and drinks, so I didn't expect any bad comments.
"Vermilion-san, is that okay?"

I called Vermilion-san over, who had been gathered around the hot plate with the White Dragon Princess.

When I took out the Ancient Kagurabue Flute, True and the Selkies noticed and began to gather. The White Dragon Princess noticed too, put down her plate, and came over.

Vermilion-san had been quietly listening to the chorus.
He seemed to have been moved by the White Dragon Princess and co.'s singing, and praised me profusely.
"Your food is great, and you can do anything."

I can't fly like a dragon. Well, I don't even want to fly.
As we were talking, Mion logged in.
"Shou-kun. I've logged in."

Mion had joined us at the port during the day, but I had her return to the mansion via the Divine Tree and log out. The reason was…

And with that, Mion arrived from the mansion.
Seeing her, the Selkies began preparing seafood for Mion's share.
"Leave this to me."

El-san offered to do the dishes, so I apologetically left it to her.
I sprinkled salt on the nicely grilled skewers and drizzled butter and Krupesauce onto the cooked Chromnaria.
"Be careful, it's hot."
"Yes. Althena-chan, let's eat too."

Seeing them eat so deliciously made me want to eat a bit more myself. And Lupi and the others had sparkling eyes too.
"Lupi, you guys want some more?"
