Chapter 636 - Chapter 566: Current Overview of the Nation-Founding System
"Shou-kun, Seth-chan."
"You're here."
"Good evening~"
It was evening. When I showed my face in the [Virtual Club Room] before [IRO], even [Yata-sensei] was there, seeming to wait for us?
"Did something happen?"
"Just a moment ago, the explanation for the nation-founding system was released. It seems our request paid off."
"\"Oh!\""
[Bell-bucho] prominently displayed the official page so everyone could see.
Let's see…

☆☆☆Nation-Founding System☆☆☆
[Regarding the Suspension and Resumption]
In [Iris Revolution Online], players can establish and manage their own nations.
Through this, we believe we can offer players the joy of uniting and helping the world of Irisphia flourish.
However, with the current implementation, there was a bug that allowed nations to be founded in unintended situations, and also to be abused.
We deeply apologize once again for the unpleasant experience caused to some [User]s due to this.
This feature has been temporarily suspended, and while a thorough review is underway, we have received harsh feedback from many [User]s stating 'insufficient explanation.'
Therefore, with the permission of [User]s who have already founded nations, we are now releasing some of that information.
Please note that the resumption date for the nation-founding system is currently undecided. We will inform you once it has been determined.

"Huh, you can do quite a lot."
"The exclusive [Skill]s that nation founders or appointed public officials gain are what I'm curious about, though."
There's no explanation for those exclusive [Skill]s.
"I have information on that. I'd been asking [Ramune-san] about it, and the reply just came in. It seems to have been delayed because of today's announcement."
In the case of [Ramune Kingdom], [Ramune-san], the King (Queen), is the nation founder.
And it seems there are various appointments that can be made: [Prime Minister], [Knight Commander], [Chief Court Mage]… and so on.
Each gains a Leadership [Skill], and specifically, the [Prime Minister] gets the [Governance Skill], while the [Knight Commander] and [Chief Court Mage] are granted the [Military Skill].
These [Governance Skill]s and [Military Skill]s are the type that enhance related [Skill]s, providing a bonus to their levels and reducing the cooldown for Arts and magic, making them quite excellent.
Furthermore, it seems they also apply a bonus to the related [Skill]s of subordinates.
"Whoa… To get that without consuming any [SP], isn't that pretty broken?"
"I think so too, but apparently, it's not that useful? Though I suppose that's partly because there aren't many opportunities to use it."
"The fact that it's taken away if the nation falls is also a key point, you see. It might be more accurate to call it a job bonus rather than a [Skill]."
"That certainly makes more sense."
But doesn't that subtly overlap with titles? Those don't have bonuses, do they?
I glanced at [Mion] and saw that she was focused on a different item, not that one.
"Is there anything else you're curious about?"
"\"Ah, yes. I'm curious about this 'cumulative increase of [NPC]s'.\""
"Ah, you're right. …How do you read this?"
"\"It's read as 'Shinsen'~ It refers to offerings made to the gods~\""
As expected of [Yata-sensei], the Japanese language teacher.
My grandpa used to offer rice and water at the household shrine, and apparently, those are also called [Shinsen].
"I heard that only [Ramune-san] can choose those [Shinsen]…"
It seems that if a player who founded a nation at National Level 5 chooses [Shinsen], [NPC]s will increase while they are logged out, in exchange for the [Shinsen] disappearing.
"What kind of items?"
"Apparently, anything is fine. However, they don't really understand how things are being evaluated."
"Hmm, so that's masked data, then."
In [Citron Kingdom], [Ramune-san] apparently offers [Shinsen] whenever she remembers to.
The offerings range from money to ingredients, and she's quite arbitrary about it, or so I hear. It certainly sounds like her.
"By the way, that's how the [Cait Sith]s have been increasing."
"\"Eh!?\""
No, wait, that makes sense. [Sweee], [True], [Pan], [Shal], [Kuro], [Rake], [Ato]… they're all [NPC]s too, aren't they?
"I see, so that's the trick."
It was said that [Fairy]s like [Gnome]s and [Cait Sith]s increased according to the number of players, but in [Citron Kingdom], they must also be increasing thanks to [Ramune-san].
In that case…
"If I founded a nation, maybe the [Fairy]s would increase. But then again… becoming a [start point] is the problem, you see."
"\"That's true…\""
"Yeah…"
"Hmm…"
In the end, it was an undecided matter when it would resume, and there was no mention of what kind of revisions would be implemented, so this topic was put on hold for now.
…
…
…
"It's decided~!" "\"~~~♪\""
After logging in, [White Dragon Princess] and [Sweee] came running.
I wondered what had been decided, and apparently, it was the [Stained Glass] design.
"What did you decide on?"
"\"Lots of flowers~♪\" "\"~~~♪\""
It seems they meant lots of flowers blooming in the flowerbeds.
Perhaps it would be best to have them draw a preliminary sketch first?
"Alright, then, you can just draw directly on the board, and I'll leave the rest to [Mion], okay?"
"Yes."
