A quirky fantasy about three idiots who laugh hysterically while enjoying another world.
Three middle-aged men, who were unexpectedly reincarnated into another world, didn't receive any cheat abilities, but they grew by making the most of their respective environments. They reunited on their 15th birthday, their coming-of-age day.
But these three have strangely strong personalities.
Geogriff, the third son of a frontier count—an SF otaku.
Mariane, the granddaughter of the chairman of a major trading company—a
yuri fanatic (and has been gender-bent). Later, an ordinary village hunter—a furry.
The three, who have finally reunited, begin to wreak havoc on the other world with their needlessly honed magic and otaku-specific ideas. Are they weirdos? Oddballs? So what? If there's seriousness in the west, they destroy it with their energy and momentum, and if there's a depressing development in the east, they crash it with a "We're here! The three of us!!"
This brainless, exhilarating fantasy begins here, where three eccentric characters laugh their heads off while enjoying another world.
This is a reincarnation story that goes for the laughs. Also, I've lifted the ban on using certain techniques that I had previously considered taboo in production. Here are the elements:
- No holding back on parody jokes (titles of works are censored,
of course). - Trying to keep each chapter to around 2000 characters (it's impossible now).
- Not coming up with complicated settings (probably).
- Trying to keep the amount of descriptive text to a minimum (personal opinion).
- The story I initially envisioned only goes up to the first part.
- From the second part onwards, I've started writing based on the book version, from the setting onwards.
- Also, the subheading "How About the Three Stooges?" is a short story (interlude).
This work is going to be purely gag-focused. Even if some depressing elements appear, it's designed to be a safe setup for a crash.
Thanks to everyone's support, I won a special prize at Kakuyomu Contest 9.
